Good times in the Tub

 This is me trying to get a smile out of colby while waiting for sister to get done in the bath tub. There is one smile.

 Umm.. I think that is it and there we are not even looking at the camera. I guess I need to try a bit harder.

 Most of the time I don't like to take pictures of them when they are in the bath tub but isn't she so cute!!

Aubrey turned 2

 We are ready to party!! I even have my sunglasses on.

 We had a sprinkler that you see that looks like a palm tree and then there were sprinklers going too. Long story short, aubrey had a blast at her party!!

 She got a lot of dress up stuff from her cousins and she loved all of it.

 Here is her cake and with the candles lit. She wanted strawberry and I picked to put some rainbow chip frosting on top.

Aubrey had a lot of fun and is such a blessing in our lives. I don't know what we would be doing without her. I have learned so much from her and have changed for the better. I love you aubrey and glad that you came to our family!!!

 These are all pictures of Colby's blessing. These are some of the cutest ones that were taken. I love his little tie. The suit that he is wearing is actually the outfit that his grandma got for him but he didn't wear but he sure got to wear it the next week. That was on May 13,2012.

 Here is our adorable but crazy daughter aubrey, she loves the water and here she is sporting her new swimsuit that her grandma bought her at the dollar store. Imagine that a dollar store would sell swim suits. She loves her new little floaties.

 Here we are it is Memorial Day and Neal had the day off so we decided to go hiking and swimming this day. The first pic is of everyone after we got home. Obviously we forgot to wear sunscreen but no one ever complained. We had so much fun together. Yes, while on the trail colby was thirsty and neal gave him some water out of the camelback but he got mad when he would drink because it would come too fast. He is so cute though.

I have not posted in a while since having my son.  I am sure that you can understand that I have been busy with two little ones now at home and just finishing work last week. Here are some pictures that have been since my last post in April.  I don't know what to say. Colby is growing so fast. This last picture is of my present for being able to stay home with the two little ones. It turned out that neal and I both working was not working to our advantage and I was not enjoying being away from the two kids. I love the opportunity to do housework now.

The new addition to The Reiersen Household

Welcome to our new little boy to our home!! I know everyone likes to know how it all happened. so here it is. I started to have contractions on the 6th of April about 9:30pm while watching a movie with neal. It was Dolphin Tale. I like the movie but it was a lot different when every minute or two you are in pain. Anyways, I had a false alarm the week before so I wanted to be sure that these contractions were for real or it was something else so I had some fluids and ate something and they were still coming so at about 11:00 I realized that these were real and he was coming! We called my mom who was on her way from out of town and we went to the hospital. We got to the hospital and I was a 6 and 100 percent effaced. They got me ready and into the room. I went through contractions for about an hour and then I got am epidural and I felt a whole lot better. Then at about 1:20am the doctor came in and checked me and I was 10 and ready. The doctor said he was still a bit high so he gave me an hour for him to come down and by 2:20am he came back and we were ready to push. They broke my water and I pushed for about 2 minutes and he came out. He was perfect. He is a great baby and a wonderful little boy.

My how the time flies. I am not doing well with this blogging thing. Well, lots of things have happened since my last blog. We are having our second little one in april and it is going to be a little boy. This has been a great pregnancy. I have enjoyed working and having neal stay home with aubrey. I love when I come home from work and hear the little feet running to greet me at the door. Neal is still going to school for his master's degree and really loving his classes.

The pictures you see up above are of Aubrey riding a horse for the first time in november. I had a work function to go to in Tucson so neal and aubrey came with me and this is what they did while I was with work. She is getting so big. She is learning so much everyday.

For the last couple of months...

I am so sorry, I have been really busy to blog. Lots going on.

I am working full time now as a special education teacher

I am also training for a half marathon that is happening on Oct. 22 here in Phoenix.

Neal is going back to school and loving it.

Aubrey is enjoying life and the time she has with daddy during the day.

Rewind to Family Reunion

Last week Neal, Aubrey and I went to Utah for a week for Neal's family Reunion. I have family in Vernal Utah so we were able to visit my family and his family in one trip. It was wonderful. The drive up was so nice and so scenic. We loved the time we were able to spend with family and people we got to meet and reconnect with. Neal and I got to go mountain biking, and canoeing and fishing and swimming and played games. We had such a blast with family.
